When you use the command line to call the swithmail executable, log file data is not being recorded. I can go into the GUI config and choose test configuration and it records data to the log file.

      Command I am using.
      “C:\Program Files (x86)\SwithMail\SwithMail.exe” /s /x “C:\Program Files (x86)\SwithMail\SwithMailSettings.xml” /Subject “”

      Using version 2.2.4.0

interesting – out of curiosity, if you add the /l "c:\path\to\log\log.txt" to the end of the command line, does it work?

Are you trying to to write the log to C:\Program Files (x86)\SwithMail\ or another location? If there, you’ll likely need to run as administrator.

      “C:\Program Files (x86)\SwithMail\SwithMail.exe” /s /x “C:\Program Files (x86)\SwithMail\SwithMailSettings.xml” /Subject “” /l “D:\SwithMailLog\SwithMailLog.txt”

Using the /l switch with location of log files works.

Location of log files is D:\SwithMailLog\SwithMailLog.txt

Gotcha. I’ll double check the XML functions and make sure it’s pulling the values correctly and let ya know what I find.

      Thanks!
