    TBare,

    Thx … No worries …

    here is a link discussing X-Priority

    http://www.chilkatsoft.com/p/p_471.asp

    The lines posted are what I have used in email headers with sendmail in AIX which has worked well with all email services for many years

    Basically we build a raw plain text email file that contains all pertinent content; To:, From:, CC:, BCC:, Subject:, Headers, Body:, and can include Base64 encoded attachments (for PDF and/or Report Data) whenever applicable

    This file is then just included as a sendmail cli parameter

    sendmail -t < /eml/somefile.eml -f admin@fromhere.com

    File without attachments:

    To: somebody@somewhere.else
    From: me@from.here
    CC: archive@from.here
    BCC: the.boss@from.here
    Subject: Some Important Subject
    Content-Type: text/plain
    Return-Path: me@from.here
    X-Priority: 1 (Highest)
    X-MSMail-Priority: High

    Important Details!

    File with attachments:

    To: somebody@somewhere.else
    From: me@from.here
    CC: archive@from.here
    BCC: the.boss@from.here
    Return-Path: me@from.here
    X-Priority: 1 (Highest)
    X-MSMail-Priority: High
    Subject: Some Important Subject
    Disposition-Notification-To: me@from.here
    Mime-Version: 1.0
    Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary=”_==mixed–_”
    _==mixed==_

    Important Details!

    _==mixed==_
    Content-Type: application/pdf; name=”some.important.pdf”
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
    Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=”some.important.pdf”

    lots of base64 gibberish (8 bit content converted to 7 bit)

    _==mixed==_

    3 suggestions:

    1) provide an option to allow users to include their own raw email file like sendmail does

    2) provide an option for users to add custom headers

    3) add an option that allows users to select 1 or more priority styles

    a) Priority: urgent
    b) Importance: high
    c) X-Priority: 1 (highest)
    d) X-MSMail-Priority: High
